Int64

Nombre d’octets de données à envoyer à la ressource Internet. La valeur par défaut est -1, ce qui indique que la propriété n’a pas été définie et qu’aucune donnée de demande n’est envoyée.

InvalidOperationException

La requête a été démarrée en appelant la méthode GetRequestStream(), BeginGetRequestStream(AsyncCallback, Object), GetResponse()ou BeginGetResponse(AsyncCallback, Object).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

La nouvelle valeur ContentLength est inférieure à 0.

Remarques

Prudence

WebRequest, HttpWebRequest, ServicePointet WebClient sont obsolètes et vous ne devez pas les utiliser pour le nouveau développement. Utilisez HttpClient à la place.

La propriété ContentLength contient la valeur à envoyer en tant qu’en-tête HTTP Content-length avec la requête.

Toute valeur autre que -1 dans la propriété ContentLength indique que la requête charge les données et que seules les méthodes qui chargent les données sont autorisées à être définies dans la propriété Method.

Une fois la propriété ContentLength définie sur une valeur, ce nombre d’octets doit être écrit dans le flux de requête retourné en appelant la méthode GetRequestStream ou les deux méthodes BeginGetRequestStream et EndGetRequestStream.

Note

La valeur de cette propriété est stockée dans WebHeaderCollection. Si WebHeaderCollection est défini, la valeur de la propriété est perdue.
