XPathItem.ValueAsDateTime Property

When overridden in a derived class, gets the item's value as a DateTime.

The item's value as a DateTime.
Exceptions
The item's value is not in the correct format for the DateTime type.
The attempted cast to DateTime is not valid.
Remarks
The ValueAsDateTime property attempts to convert the value of the item to the .NET Framework 2.0 DateTime type according to the XPath 2.0 rules for casting the item's type.
