Specify H.323 call control options

To specify H.323 call control options

  1. Open Phone and Modem Options in Control Panel.

  2. On the Advanced tab, in Providers, click Microsoft H.323 Telephony Service Provider, and then click Configure.

  3. Under H.323 call control, in H.323 call alerting timeout, type the amount of time, in milliseconds, an incoming call will ring before it is dropped.

  4. Under H.323 call control, in H.323 call listening port, type the number of the port on which this H.323 client will listen for incoming calls, and then click OK.

Notes

  • To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure. As a security best practice, consider using Run as to perform this procedure.

  • To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click the appropriate icon.
