Ellipsis (…) menu
Use the ellipsis (…) menu as the one-stop-shop for accessing your favorites, Collections, history, downloads, extensions, and additional resources and tools in the Microsoft Edge browser. Think of it as your starting point to find some of the productivity features in the browser.
Favorites
Use favorites to save webpages for quick access, and you can create different folders for each class, project, or area of focus. Access your favorites in one of the following ways:
- Select Favorites from the ellipsis (...) button menu
- Use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+O
- Select the star button in the search bar
History
The history button allows users to access their browsing history in several different ways:
- All history
- Recently closed tabs
- Tabs from other devices
This feature is helpful when you need to find a previously visited webpage that wasn’t saved or relocate a resource or tool that you were using.
More tools
The More tools menu contains some additional useful features such as:
- Cast media to a device
- Citations
- Math Solver
- Pin a website to the Windows taskbar or Start
