Hey,

I updated an update in Windows 10 and since then , I purchased a new computer yesterday IdeaPad 1 14ALC7 Laptop - Type 82R3 and I had many updates in Windows 10 and I updated them all and suddenly in the middle of a certain update so the touchpad stopped working until now and I believe it is because of one of the updates I had in Windows 10. I would appreciate it if you could send me and answer my message and give me a solution to the problem that the touchpad will work for me again and be normal.

Thank you.

    2. Click on Start and search for "Device Manager" > open it.
    3. Click on the arrow beside "Mice and other pointing devices" to expand it
    4. Right click on your touchpad driver and select Uninstall device. Tick the Delete the driver software for this device check box > select Uninstall.

    6. Go back to the Device Manager > Click on the Action tab > select "Scan for hardware changes", and check if it will scan and reinstall your touchpad driver.

However, if the issue persist, kindly perform a repair install of your Windows which fixes the broken system files on your machine. Here is a guide: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repai...
There should be no worries in performing it since you will select the option to keep your files during the process.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
