Gets a value indicating whether the list of standard values returned from GetStandardValues(ITypeDescriptorContext) is an exhaustive list.
public:
override bool GetStandardValuesExclusive(System::ComponentModel::ITypeDescriptorContext ^ context);
public override bool GetStandardValuesExclusive (System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext context);
public override bool GetStandardValuesExclusive (System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext? context);
override this.GetStandardValuesExclusive : System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext -> bool
Public Overrides Function GetStandardValuesExclusive (context As ITypeDescriptorContext) As Boolean
Parameters
- context
- ITypeDescriptorContext
An ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.
Returns
false
because the TypeConverter.StandardValuesCollection returned from GetStandardValues(ITypeDescriptorContext) is not an exhaustive list of possible values (that is, other values are possible). This method never returns true
.
Remarks
The context
parameter can be used to extract additional information about the environment this converter is being invoked from. This can be null
, so always check. Also, properties on the context object can return null
.
When the list is not exhaustive, then there are other valid values besides the list of standard values that GetStandardValues provides.
