Enumerable.SkipLast<TSource>(IEnumerable<TSource>, Int32) Method

Definition

Returns a new enumerable collection that contains the elements from source with the last count elements of the source collection omitted.

TSource

The type of the elements in the enumerable collection.

Parameters

source
IEnumerable<TSource>

An enumerable collection instance.

count
Int32

The number of elements to omit from the end of the collection.

Returns

IEnumerable<TSource>

A new enumerable collection that contains the elements from source minus count elements from the end of the collection.

Exceptions

source is null.

Remarks

If count is not a positive number, this method returns an identical copy of the source enumerable collection.
