Protected Overridable Sub ConditionalClearCachedEndTag (writer As XhtmlMobileTextWriter, s As String)
Parameters
- writer
- XhtmlMobileTextWriter
The XhtmlMobileTextWriter object used to render the server control content on the client's browser.
- s
- String
The name of the tag you want to clear; the value can be null
or an empty string ("").
Remarks
This functionality is required only in the very rare case of a target device where a selected element cannot appear inside a table. If the s
parameter is provided, the cached ending tag is cleared. This allows the text writer to insert content when the target device does not support <select>
elements immediately after the end of a table.
This method is primarily used by the .NET Framework internally.
