Text properties in Power Apps
Configure the text that appears on a control, as a hint when the user types data, and specify other text-related characteristics.
Text appearance
Font – The name of the family of fonts in which text appears.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Column chart, Date Picker, Drop down, Export, HTML text, Import, Label, Line chart, List Box, Pie chart, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
FontWeight – The weight of the text in a control: Bold, Semibold, Normal, or Lighter.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Date Picker, Drop down, Export, Import, Label, List Box, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
Italic – Whether the text in a control is italic.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Date Picker, Drop down, Export, Import, Label, List Box, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
Size – The font size of the text that appears on a control.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Column chart, Date Picker, Drop down, Export, HTML text, Import, Label, Line chart, List Box, Pen input, Pie chart, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
Strikethrough – Whether a line appears through the text that appears on a control.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Drop down, Export, Import, Label, List Box, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
Underline – Whether a line appears under the text that appears on a control.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Check box, Drop down, Export, Import, Label, List Box, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
Text placement
Align – The location of text in relation to the horizontal center of its control.
- Applies to Add picture, Button, Export, Import, Label, Radio, Text input, and Timer controls.
LineHeight – The distance between, for example, lines of text or items in a list.
- Applies to List Box, Label, Radio, and Text input controls.
VerticalAlign – The location of text on a control in relation to the vertical center of that control.
