You can upload files in any format to a volume, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Files uploaded through the Azure Databricks UI can't exceed 5 GB.

Quick start
You can access the upload UI in several ways:
- In the sidebar: New > Add data > Upload files to volume
- In Catalog Explorer: Add > Upload to volume
- From a notebook: File > Upload files to volume
