Microsoft Learn Catalog API release notes

The following information lists the updates made to the Microsoft Learn Catalog API and the dates they were made.

2023

2023-10-25: Add Applied Skills and merged certifications.
- Note: Certifications information that only require one exam will be returned as part of the mergedCertifications property instead of the certifications property.
2023-04-20: Add links to exam practice assessments.

2022-11-09: New query filters available for content types, UIDs, last modified date, popularity, levels, roles, products, and subjects; and the ability to use one or more filters in a request
2022-09-15: New API endpoint available on learn.microsoft.com; URLs outputted now reflect the new learn.microsoft.com domain.
- Note: The old docs.microsoft.com endpoint will still work as expected, but the benefits of switching to the new endpoint are that it will give you enhanced features such as more query parameters and all future updates.
2022-05-16: Subject metadata for modules and learning paths, and subject taxonomy added to the response output.
2022-01-25: Exams, certifications, instructor-led training courses, units, and tile-form achievement images added to the response output.

2020-09-15: Added firstUnitUrl, firstModuleUrl, popularity, and ratings to the module and learning path response output.
2020-01-17: Beta release of the Learn Catalog API.
