Great news! We are thrilled to announce that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will return to the Imagine Cup World Finals in July 2016 for the third year in a row where he’ll not only crown the World Champion, but will conduct a one-on-one mentoring session with the winning team. What will you ask Satya if you are the winner?

Last September, Satya met with 2015 Imagine Cup World Champs, eFitFashion from Brazil. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the team to talk to the CEO of a global technology company.

Imagine your idea, perhaps right now in its beginning stages, becoming a household name, a thriving business or a must-have game. Imagine how your creativity, skills and passion for technology would benefit from Satya Nadella’s own innovative vision and experience. What would he have to say about how to take your idea to the next level?

Imagine Cup 2016 is underway! If you’ve ever wondered if your idea is good enough to make it in the real world, now is your chance to find out. Imagine Cup will put your team’s world citizenship solution, next big game or innovation app to the test!

It won’t be easy, but you’ll also learn what you, your teammates and your ideas are made of. All that work will be more than worth it – just ask eFitFashion. Especially if it’s you on stage cheering and shaking hands with Satya as he crowns you the 2016 Imagine Cup World Champions!

The Imagine Cup World Championship, which will take place near Microsoft headquarters in the Seattle area, will also be broadcast live for the world to see – so your project will get a massive amount of exposure. And don’t forget that the first-place teams in our three main competitions win $50,000.

The only way to start is to register for Imagine Cup. If you want to win, you have to compete. If you want to compete, you have to register. What are you waiting for? Form a team. Build something cool. Inspire us all!

We’ve got more news and exciting information to come, so stay tuned.
