I am trying to get my 'Windows Live ID' password reset, but am not receiving the email message to get it reset. I forgot my password from what I set it to be recently. Jon.Cardwell@[removed for security reasons] [Chris responds: You can contact Windows LiveId support through this web page: https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?productKey=wlid&ct=eformts&scrx=1.]

What specifically are/were you trying to do when you get those errors? I don't recognize those error IDs.

Download manager does not start. Two days same situation. Tested under IE7 (which did work last week) and Mozilla 3. No luck at all. [Chris responds: I'll need a little more info than what you have provided in order to assist you. What page were you on, what download were you trying to invoke, etc.  You can also log into the blog and contact me privately via my profile page.]

Milind: Your post does not make sense. The "error" you have pasted above is an announcement on the downloads and subscriptions home pages that is alerting customers that the RETAIL PURCHASE system is unavailable. It has zero impact on the downloads and their availaibility. You need to log in to access your downloads just like any other day.

Same Alert Error as Milind Jambhekar above at 19.15 GMT - not too happy about wasting more time until I see a more enticing reccommendation. [Chris responds: See my post above on Milind.  Please provide the same info.]

Napier - as pointed out to Milind. The current system error applies ONLY to retail purchasing. There is NO impact on your ability to access your downloads or keys.

System logs me in, but says I am not a subscriber and denies access to keys.
