EdmFunctions.BitwiseAnd(DbExpression, DbExpression) Method

Definition

Creates a DbFunctionExpression that invokes the canonical 'BitwiseAnd' function with the specified arguments, which must have the same integer numeric result type. The result type of the expression is the same as the type of the arguments.

public:
[System::Runtime::CompilerServices::Extension]
 static System::Data::Common::CommandTrees::DbFunctionExpression ^ BitwiseAnd(System::Data::Common::CommandTrees::DbExpression ^ value1, System::Data::Common::CommandTrees::DbExpression ^ value2);
public static System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbFunctionExpression BitwiseAnd (this System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression value1, System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression value2);
static member BitwiseAnd : System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression * System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbExpression -> System.Data.Common.CommandTrees.DbFunctionExpression
<Extension()>
Public Function BitwiseAnd (value1 As DbExpression, value2 As DbExpression) As DbFunctionExpression

Parameters

value1
DbExpression

An expression that specifies the first operand.

value2
DbExpression

An expression that specifies the second operand.

Returns

A new DbFunctionExpression that returns the value produced by performing the bitwise AND of value1 and value2.

Exceptions

value1 or value2 is null.

value1 or value2 is invalid.
