A IsNullOrWhiteSpace metódussal ellenőrizheti, hogy egy karakterlánc null-e, String.Emptyaz értéke, vagy csak szóköz karakterekből áll-e.

Mi az a null sztring?

A string null, ha nincs értékhez rendelve (C++ és Visual Basic esetén), vagy ha hozzá explicit módon nullértéket rendeltünk. Bár az összetett formázási funkció képes a null sztringek kezelésére, az alábbi példa szerint megpróbál meghívni egyet, ha a tagok NullReferenceExceptiondobnak.

A sztring üres, ha explicit módon hozzárendelt egy üres sztringet ("") vagy String.Empty. Az üres sztring Length értéke 0. Az alábbi példa egy üres sztringet hoz létre, és megjeleníti annak értékét és hosszát.
