Product attributes (form)

Click Procurement and sourcing > Setup > Categories > Procurement categories. In the left pane, select a category. On the Product attributes FastTab, click Add.
Use this form to manage the product attributes in a procurement category. You can mark attributes as required for any products that are added to the selected category. You can set up attributes to be searchable and sortable in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX. You can also decide when product attributes for a category are displayed in vendor catalogs.

Data type |
The format of the attribute. For example, the data type for the Installation included attribute is Boolean. If you select Installation included as an attribute for a procurement category, the person requesting a product from the category must select a Boolean value of either Yes or No to indicate whether installation is included in the cost of the product. Required |
Select this check box to require requesters to enter the values for attributes when they order products from the category. |
Is searchable |
Select this check box to include the product attribute in product searches Enterprise Portal. |
Is sortable |
Select this check box to enable sorting on the product attribute in a list. |
Is internal |
Select this check box if you want to display product attributes in vendor catalogs. |
