Code Field, Responsibility Center Table

Specifies a responsibility center code.

You can enter the code in the responsibility center code fields elsewhere in the program. For example, entering a code on purchase and sales documents can change the address on documents, the dimensions, and the prices of items. Entering a responsibility center code on a location card will mean that the location (for example, a warehouse or distribution center) is administered by the responsibility center represented by the code.

You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters. Use codes that are easy to remember and describe the responsibility center. Examples are:

LA Sales; France 1; West St.

The code must be unique. You cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can create as many codes as you like.
