Viewing Table Data

You can view information about all fields and values that are in the table on which a page or report is based. For example, you may need to know the value of a field that is not displayed on the page or report but is available in the underlying table. The About this Page window provides data for the currently selected FactBox or page.

To View the Value of a Hidden Field

For example, you are working in an item journal and need to know which inventory posting group is used. To view the value of the hidden field, follow these steps:

  1. In the Item Journal window, select the line for which you want to know the item's inventory posting group.

  2. Choose the Help button, and then choose About This Page.

  3. In the About This Page window, expand the Table Fields FastTab.

  4. Tab or scroll to the Inventory Posting Group field, and then read the corresponding field value in the right column.

You can also view the following information if it is present:

  • Page information

  • Source expressions

  • FlowFilter fields

  • Filters
