How to: View Information About an Operator (SQL Server Management Studio)

This topic describes how to view information about a Microsoft SQL Server Agent operator.

To view information about an operator

1. In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the SQL Server Database Engine, and then expand that instance.

2. Expand SQL Server Agent.

3. Expand Operators, right-click an operator, and then click Properties.

   The General page displays the notification methods and the pager schedule defined for the operator. The Notifications page displays the notifications the operator receives. The History page displays the most recent notification attempts.
