How to: Add, Move, Resize, or Delete a Text Box (Report Builder 1.0)

To add a textbox

  • In Report Builder design mode, click Textbox on the Insert menu.

Note

Alternatively, right-click on the design area, point to Insert, and then click Textbox.

To move a textbox

  1. In Report Builder design mode, select the textbox.

    The textbox handles are displayed.

  2. Click and drag the text box to the new location.

To resize a textbox

  1. In Report Builder design mode, select the textbox.

    The textbox handles are displayed.

  2. Position the pointer on the center of a handle or on one of the textbox corners.

  3. When the pointer changes, drag in the direction that you want to resize the textbox.

To delete a textbox

  1. In Report Builder design mode, select the textbox that you want delete.

  2. On the Edit menu, click Delete.

Alternatively, select the textbox, and then press Delete.
