General, Device Tools, Options Dialog Box

This page sets general options for a managed device project.

To display this dialog box, click Options on the Tools menu, click Device Tools, and then click General.

Show device choices before deploying a device project
Opens the Deploy dialog box every time that you deploy a project. Select this option if you frequently switch between devices (for example, between a physical device and its emulator). If you are deploying to only one device, you can clear the check box, and the Deploy dialog box does not open at the start of each deployment.

This option can also be selected using the Deploy dialog box.
Show skin in Windows Forms Designer
Displays a skin around the form at design time, provided this option is enabled in the Form Factor Properties Dialog Box (Devices).
