Craft a user experience strategy for Microsoft 365 Copilot

A user experience strategy will enable you to quantify the value received from adopting Microsoft 365 Copilot and gives your team a vision and roadmap for success.

  1. Identify target user personas (ex: HR, Sales, Finance, IT, Marketing)
  2. Quantify pain points and potential productivity gains
  3. Define engagement touch points
  4. Prioritize user feedback methods and issue resolution
  5. Define success measures and use cases

Documenting your goals for the user experience in your organization will allow you to focus on the needs of the people first and the technology second. Start by crafting your own document with Copilot in Microsoft Word. User experience strategy documents are updated bi-annually (every six months) and have a supporting feature/service roadmap to confirm the delivery of the change. Summarized versions of these documents serve as a tool to align stakeholders, gather feedback, and spot opportunities within your organization.

Host a workshop

Conduct a workshop for your team to define strategy and scenarios. Focus on foundational knowledge and insights about Microsoft 365 AI capabilities and identifying AI-ready scenarios.
