Application.PlainText method (Access)

Strips the rich text formatting from a string and returns an unformatted text string.

Syntax

expression.PlainText (RichText, Length)

expression A variable that represents an Application object.

Parameters

Name	Required/Optional	Data type	Description
RichText	Required	Variant	The rich text string that you want to remove the formatting of.
Length	Optional	Variant	The number of characters to return.

String
