More Team System resources available

Clark Sell has done a really interesting job organizing the various Team System resources that he's found valuable in a very graphical way.  He includes blogs, downloads, whitepapers, books, events, forums and on and on.  Certainly worth taking a look at and bookmarking for future reference.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but... Recently I have been given a project in Visual Basic, where communication between a GPS and a frequency analyzer where both of them communicate through USB ports. Unfortunately there is very little data on how to use USB ports. Plenty on Com ports but nothing on USB.  There should either be better documentation on USB and how use them in a program or a way to add them to a program that is as easy as dropping them on the form the way a serial port device is dropped. I'm still working on this if anyone has some information.

Mark - Thanks for your question.  I've received the following response from Justin on the CLR team: Hi Jeff, Sorry for the delay. There is no built-in support for USB in .NET.  In Windows Vista, there is a new feature called WinUSB that lets user-mode software manage USB devices.  Previous versions of Windows required the use of kernel mode device drivers for interacting with USB devices. On Vista, it should be possible to use WinUSB through Interop.  More information on WinUSB is here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa476426.aspx Thanks, Justin
