Create servicePrincipal
Namespace: microsoft.graph
Create a new servicePrincipal object.
Important
Adding passwordCredential when creating servicePrincipals is not supported. Use the addPassword method to add passwords or secrets for a servicePrincipal.
This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions
Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. For multi-tenant apps, the calling user must also be in at least one of the following Microsoft Entra roles:
- Application Administrator
- Cloud Application Administrator
For single-tenant apps where the calling user is a non-admin user but is the owner of the backing application, the user must have the Application Developer role.

Request body
In the request body, supply a JSON representation of a servicePrincipal object. The request body must contain appId.
