List credits in Environmental Credit Service (preview)

This article shows you how to list credits on a marketplace for trade in Environmental Credit Service (preview).

Register as a trader

A supplier or a buyer interested in trading credits on a marketplace can register as a trader on a marketplace in Environmental Credit Service (preview). A marketplace can review and approve the registration proposal.

Market role: Supplier

  1. As a user with the Supplier market role, sign into Environmental Credit Service (preview).

  2. Select the Marketplaces icon from the left navigation to reach the Marketplaces page.

  3. Select the Register button to register on a specific marketplace as a supplier. The Registration pending review status appears on the marketplace card.

  4. As a user with the Marketplace market role, sign into the Marketplace Dashboard.

  5. Select the Trader registrations tab to review all the pending supplier registration requests. Hover over the registration request you want to approve, and then select Review to view the Trader registration detail page.

  6. Review the details, and then select Approve registration to approve the registration request, and then select Confirm registration. Otherwise, select Reject to reject the request.

After the request is approved, the supplier can submit the listing requests to the registered marketplace.

Register as a buyer

  1. As a user with the Buyer market role, sign into Environmental Credit Service (preview).

  2. Select the Marketplaces icon from the left navigation menu to reach the Marketplaces page.

  3. Select the Register button to register on a specific marketplace as a buyer. The Registration pending review status now appears on the marketplace card.

  4. As a user with the Marketplace market role, sign into Environmental Credit Service (preview) and open the Marketplace Dashboard.

  5. Select the Trader registrations tab to review all the pending supplier and buyer registration requests.

  6. Hover and select the review link to view a registration request’s detail.

  7. Review the details, and then select Approve registration to approve the registration request. Otherwise, select Reject to reject the request.

After the request is approved, the buyer is registered on the marketplace, and now the marketplace can transfer ownership of listed credits to the registered buyer.

Submit proposal to list a credit

Market role: Supplier

  1. Sign into Environmental Credit Service (preview).

  2. On the Modular benefit projects tab, select the project.

  3. On the Credits issued tab, hover over the credit to list, and then select List for Trade.

    Select List for Trade.

  4. In the List for trade form, select the marketplace, quantity to list, and the unit listing price.

    Complete the List for trade form.

  5. Select List to submit the listing proposal. After you submit it, the proposal will be available for the marketplace to review.

Review proposal

Market role: Marketplace

  1. Sign into Environmental Credit Service (preview).

  2. On the Credit listings tab, select a credit listing proposal.

  3. Review the details on the Listing request page.

  4. You can view the lineage of the credit by selecting View lineage. For more information about credit lineage, go to View credit lineage.

  5. Select the List credits button to approve and list the credit on your platform. Select Reject to reject the listing proposal.

List a partial credit

Market role: Supplier

Suppliers can list a partial credit by splitting the credit while listing it. After the credit is split, continue with the above steps to list it.
