InkOverlay.Painted Event
Occurs when the InkOverlay object has completed redrawing itself.
Namespace: Microsoft.Ink
Assembly: Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Event Painted As InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler
'Usage
Dim instance As InkOverlay
Dim handler As InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler
AddHandler instance.Painted, handler
public event InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler Painted
public:
event InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ Painted {
void add (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ value);
void remove (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ value);
}
JScript does not support events.
Remarks
The event handler receives an argument of type PaintEventArgs containing data about this event.
When you create an InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that handles the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For performance reasons, the default event interest is off but is turned on automatically if you add an event handler.
Examples
In this example, the Painted event handler is used to draw a watermark on the ink canvas.
Private Sub mInkObject_Painted(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As PaintEventArgs)
Const X As Integer = 12
Const Y As Integer = 12
Const COMPANY As String = "Graphic Design Institute"
Const WEB_SITE As String = "http://www.graphicdesigninstitute.com/"
Dim cFont As Font = New Font("Arial", 18)
Dim wFont As Font = New Font("Arial", 9)
Dim cSize As SizeF = e.Graphics.MeasureString(COMPANY, cFont)
e.Graphics.DrawString(COMPANY, cFont, Brushes.Wheat, X, Y)
e.Graphics.DrawString(WEB_SITE, wFont, Brushes.SlateGray, X, cSize.Height + Y)
End Sub
private void mInkObject_Painted(object sender, PaintEventArgs e)
{
const int X = 12;
const int Y = 12;
const string COMPANY = "Graphic Design Institute";
const string WEB_SITE = "http://www.graphicdesigninstitute.com/";
Font cFont = new Font("Arial", 18);
Font wFont = new Font("Arial", 9);
SizeF cSize = e.Graphics.MeasureString(COMPANY, cFont);
e.Graphics.DrawString(COMPANY, cFont, Brushes.Wheat, X, Y);
e.Graphics.DrawString(WEB_SITE, wFont, Brushes.SlateGray, X, cSize.Height + Y);
}
