Namespace:  Microsoft.Ink
Assembly:  Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Protected Overridable Sub OnRecognition ( _
    e As InkEditRecognitionEventArgs _
)
'Usage
Dim e As InkEditRecognitionEventArgs

Me.OnRecognition(e)
protected virtual void OnRecognition(
    InkEditRecognitionEventArgs e
)
protected:
virtual void OnRecognition(
    InkEditRecognitionEventArgs^ e
)
protected function OnRecognition(
    e : InkEditRecognitionEventArgs
)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.

The OnRecognition method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

When overriding this method in a derived class, call the OnRecognition method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
