Code Field, Gen. Product Posting Group Table

Specifies a code for the product posting group. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.

You enter the product posting group codes on G/L accounts, item and resource cards.

Use codes that are easy to remember and that describe the product posting group, for example, RAW-MAT, RETAIL, SERVICES, and so on.

The code must be unique - you cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can set up as many codes as you like.
