Methods, Role Interface

  This feature will be removed in the next version of Microsoft SQL Server. Do not use this feature in new development work, and modify applications that currently use this feature as soon as possible.

The Role interface supports the following methods.

Method	Description
Clone	Copies the properties of a role object to an existing role object
LockObject	Locks a role object
SetPermissions	Sets role permissions for a given key
UnlockObject	Unlocks a previously locked role object
Update	Saves a role in the repository
