How to: Select a Mining Structure

To create a lift chart in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS), you first must select the mining structure that contains the mining models that you want to compare. You can select any mining structure that is contained within the current project.

To select a mining structure

1. On the Column Mapping tab of the Mining Accuracy Chart tab in Data Mining Designer in Business Intelligence Development Studio, click Select Structure on the Mining Structure table.

   The Select Mining Structure dialog box opens.

2. In the Select Mining Structure dialog box, select the mining structure that contains the models you want to work with, and then click OK.

   While you can only select a mining structure and not the associated mining models, you can drill into the structure to see which mining models each mining structure contains.
