How to: Convert Writeback Data to a Partition and Disable Writeback

This procedures describes how to convert a table that contains writeback data to a partition.

To convert writeback data to a partition

1. Open the cube that contains the writeback table that you want to convert.

2. On the Cube menu, point to View, and click Partitions.

3. Expand the group containing the writeback table, right-click the writeback table, and then click Convert to Partition.

4. In the Convert Partition for Measure Group <Name> dialog box, type a name for the partition, either set aggregation design and processing options for the partition, or accept the defaults.

5. Click OK.
