How to: View Application and System Definitions from System Diagrams

From System Designer, you can view the underlying definitions of the members in a system. Viewing the definition of a member opens the diagram on which that member is defined. Applications are defined on the application diagram, while each system is defined on its own system diagram. For more information, see Overview of Applications on Application Diagrams and Overview of Application Systems.

Note

The definition for the application or system you want to view must exist in the current solution. If the definition cannot be found, its use on the system diagram displays a red dashed outline. For more information, see Troubleshooting System Diagrams.
