Remarks

The value returned from this property is used to format the method signatures that appear in the IntelliSense method tip operation.

In Visual Basic, the return type of a function follows the function declaration, separated by the string " as ", for example, Function MyFunc() as Integer. The " as " string is prefixed to the return type.

Return nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if you do not need to prefix the type with any text.

The base property returns nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
