[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The GetContainer method retrieves the content container at the specified index.

Syntax

HRESULT GetContainer(
  [in]  ULONG                idxContainer,
  [out] IWMPContentContainer **ppContent
);

Parameters

[in] idxContainer

Specifies the index of the content container to retrieve.

[out] ppContent

Address of a variable that receives a pointer to the IWMPContentContainer interface at the specified index.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

S_OK
 The method succeeded.
