IVMVirtualMachine::Pause method

The Pause method pauses the virtual machine.

Syntax

HRESULT Pause();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

Return code	Description
S_OK	The operation was successful.
E_FAIL	The virtual machine is already paused.
E_ACCESSDENIED	The caller must have execute access permissions to pause this virtual machine.
VM_E_VM_UNKNOWN	Unknown configuration.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION	An unexpected error has occurred.

Remarks

Pause does not save the current state of the virtual machine.
