CaptureDevice.IsDefaultDevice Property

Gets a value that declares whether the capture device is the default device for its type (audio or video).

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if this CaptureDevice represents the default device for its type; otherwise, false.

Remarks

If multiple devices are available, the user can select the device to use as part of the Silverlight configuration dialog box (Webcam/Mic tab). In configuration UI, audio devices and video devices are listed separately, and each can have a default. If a device is unavailable in the Silverlight configuration dialog box, no CaptureDevice instance represents it.
