public delegate void PrintEventHandler(System::Object ^ sender, PrintEventArgs ^ e);
public delegate void PrintEventHandler(object sender, PrintEventArgs e);
type PrintEventHandler = delegate of obj * PrintEventArgs -> unit
Public Delegate Sub PrintEventHandler(sender As Object, e As PrintEventArgs)

Parameters

sender
Object

The source of the event.

e
PrintEventArgs

A PrintEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Note

In .NET 6 and later versions, the System.Drawing.Common package, which includes this type, is only supported on Windows operating systems. Use of this type in cross-platform apps causes compile-time warnings and run-time exceptions. For more information, see System.Drawing.Common only supported on Windows.

When you create a PrintEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see Handling and Raising Events.

For more information on printing, see the System.Drawing.Printing namespace overview.
