Vector256.ToVector512<T>(Vector256<T>) Method

Definition

Converts the given vector to a new Vector512<T> with the lower 256-bits set to the value of the given vector and the upper 256-bits initialized to zero.

public:
generic <typename T>
[System::Runtime::CompilerServices::Extension]
 static System::Runtime::Intrinsics::Vector512<T> ToVector512(System::Runtime::Intrinsics::Vector256<T> vector);
public static System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector512<T> ToVector512<T> (this System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector256<T> vector);
static member ToVector512 : System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector256<'T> -> System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector512<'T>
<Extension()>
Public Function ToVector512(Of T) (vector As Vector256(Of T)) As Vector512(Of T)

Type Parameters

T

The type of the input vector.

Parameters

vector
Vector256<T>

The vector to extend.

Returns

A new Vector512<T> with the lower 256-bits set to the value of vector and the upper 256-bits initialized to zero.

Exceptions

The type of vector (T) is not supported.
