Saving or Resaving a Workspace

When you save a workspace, TraceView saves the current configuration of the trace session and its trace message display. You can save a new workspace or re-save an existing workspace with new properties.

To save a workspace

1. In the Trace Session List, right-click any cell of the row that represents a trace session or trace log display.

2. Click Save Workspace.

3. In the New Workspace box, type a name for the workspace, and click OK.

To update a saved workspace

1. In the Trace Session List, right-click any cell of the row that represents a trace session or trace log display.

2. Click Save Workspace.

3. From the Saved Workspaces list, select the name of an existing workspace, and click OK.
