IRpcStubBuffer::Invoke method (objidlbase.h)

Invokes the interface that a stub represents.

Syntax

HRESULT Invoke(
  [in, out] RPCOLEMESSAGE     *_prpcmsg,
  [in]      IRpcChannelBuffer *_pRpcChannelBuffer
);

Parameters

[in, out] _prpcmsg

A pointer to an RPCOLEMESSAGE data structure containing the marshaled invocation arguments.

[in] _pRpcChannelBuffer

A pointer to an IRpcChannelBuffer interface that controls an RPC marshaling channel.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
