Quando si dispone di più Button controlli in una pagina Web, usare la CommandName proprietà per specificare o determinare il nome del comando associato a ogni Button controllo. È possibile impostare la CommandName proprietà con qualsiasi stringa che identifica il comando da eseguire. È quindi possibile determinare a livello di codice il nome del comando del Button controllo ed eseguire le azioni appropriate.

È possibile specificare informazioni aggiuntive sul comando, ad esempio Ascending, tramite la CommandArgument proprietà .
