Hi, Alice
Good day!
Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist you!
According to your description, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing Microsoft 365 on your third device.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Password Recovery: If you're being prompted that only an administrator can reset your password, it means your account is likely managed by your university's IT department. You'll need to contact them for assistance with password recovery -Reimpostare le password - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.
- Self-Service Password Reset: If your university has enabled self-service password reset, you might be able to reset your password yourself. You can check this by visiting the Microsoft 365 password reset page and following the prompts. (It only works when admin enable this for all users.)
- Admin Center: Since you're the student, please contact your administrator who has the privileges, your administrator can reset your password through the Microsoft 365 admin center. Go to the Users > Active users page, select your account, and follow the instructions to reset your password.
In conclusion, please be kindly to understand for our community team that we do not have the authority to access into the backend, thus, please refer the IT department of your school for further assistance. Because your IT administrator has higher permission and able to provide more specific assistance based on your account setup.
Thanks for your kindness and your understanding would be highly appreciated.
Wish you have a great day!
Sincerely,
Alex | Microsoft Community Moderator.
