Restituisce le informazioni di base sui metadati di una funzione esistente. Le informazioni sui metadati includono il nome della funzione, la classe di implementazione e i dettagli di utilizzo. Se viene specificata l'opzione facoltativa EXTENDED , vengono restituite le informazioni di base sui metadati insieme alle informazioni di utilizzo estese.

{ DESC | DESCRIBE } FUNCTION [ EXTENDED ] function_name

Parametri

  • function_name

    Nome di una funzione esistente nel metastore. Il nome della funzione può essere facoltativamente qualificato con un nome di schema. Se function_name è qualificato con uno schema, la funzione viene risolta dallo schema specificato dall'utente, in caso contrario viene risolta dallo schema corrente.

  the default column name `col` for elements of the array or
  `key` and `value` for the elements of the map.
