Il counterName parametro non fa distinzione tra maiuscole e minuscole.

Ogni InstanceDataCollection oggetto dell'insieme contiene i dati sulle prestazioni per tutti i contatori di un'istanza di . I dati vengono indicizzati in base al nome del contatore e quindi in base al nome dell'istanza. L'indicizzatore usa il counterName parametro per esaminare i contatori associati a questa raccolta di dati dell'istanza.
