Cautela
WebRequest
, HttpWebRequest
, ServicePoint
e WebClient
sono obsoleti e non è consigliabile usarli per nuovi sviluppi. Usare invece HttpClient.
La richiesta invia la proprietà Connection alla risorsa Internet come intestazione HTTP Connection
. Se il valore della proprietà KeepAlive è true
, il valore "Keep-alive" viene aggiunto alla fine dell'intestazione Connection
.
Per cancellare l'intestazione HTTP Connection
, impostare la proprietà Connection su null
.
La modifica della proprietà Connection dopo l'avvio della richiesta chiamando il metodo GetRequestStream, BeginGetRequestStream, GetResponseo BeginGetResponse genera un InvalidOperationException.

Il valore di questa proprietà viene archiviato in WebHeaderCollection. Se WebHeaderCollection è impostato, il valore della proprietà viene perso.
