Il suffisso DNS identifica il nome di dominio ,ad esempio "contoso.com") aggiunto a un nome host non qualificato per ottenere un nome di dominio completo (FQDN) adatto per una query del nome DNS. Ad esempio, se il computer locale ha "contoso.com" come relativo DnsSuffixe deve risolvere il nome host non qualificato "www", il nome di dominio completo per la query è "www.contoso.com".
