Una definizione di tipo generica è una dichiarazione di tipo, ad esempio Nullable<T>, che contiene un elenco di parametri di tipo e l'elenco dei parametri di tipo dichiara uno o più parametri di tipo. Un tipo generico chiuso è una dichiarazione di tipo in cui viene specificato un tipo specifico per un parametro di tipo.
