Anziché chiamare il metodo per recuperare un oggetto che viene quindi utilizzato per enumerare una stringa, è consigliabile usare invece il costrutto di iterazione del linguaggio GetEnumerator CharEnumerator (in C#, in C++/CLR e in Visual Basic). foreach in C#, for each in C++/CLR e For Each in Visual Basic).
Questo metodo consente di eseguire l'iterazione dei singoli caratteri in una stringa. Ad esempio, le istruzioni Visual Basic e C# richiamano questo metodo per restituire un oggetto in grado di fornire l'accesso in sola lettura ai caratteri For Each
in questa istanza di foreach
CharEnumerator stringa.
