L'esempio di codice seguente è un client del servizio Web che usa la classe proxy precedente. All'interno dell'evento EnterBtn_Click del Web Form, il client del servizio Web XML chiama il Discover metodo che tenta di eseguire l'associazione dinamica all'URL fornito dall'utente.

Un client del servizio Web XML può essere associato dinamicamente a un servizio Web XML diverso da quello a cui si fa riferimento nella classe proxy usando il Discover metodo . In genere, la Url proprietà fa riferimento all'indirizzo di base del servizio Web XML. Tuttavia, prima di richiamare il Discover metodo, impostare la Url proprietà su un URL di un documento di individuazione. Il Discover metodo tenta di trovare una corrispondenza nel documento di individuazione con l'associazione definita nella classe proxy e quindi associarla dinamicamente. In caso di esito positivo, le chiamate di metodo successive vengono indirizzate al servizio Web XML descritto nel documento di individuazione.
Se la classe proxy viene compilata usando lo strumento Web Services Description Language (Wsdl.exe), la classe proxy definisce l'associazione implementata dai metodi del servizio Web XML che richiama utilizzando .WebServiceBindingAttribute Quando un servizio Web XML implementa più associazioni, Wsdl.exe crea una classe proxy per ogni associazione. Applicato a ogni classe proxy è un WebServiceBindingAttribute oggetto che definisce il nome dell'associazione e il relativo spazio dei nomi. Il documento di individuazione impostato su Url deve contenere un riferimento a un servizio Web XML che implementa lo stesso nome di associazione e lo stesso spazio dei nomi oppure viene generata un'eccezione.
